Co-founders, Owen Roberts and Aaron Cunnington launched the business in July 2013. Both seasoned business owners in recruitment and IT, they decided to join forces and side step into telco, seeing the value add in multiple product offering and a recurring revenue stream.

In only one year of operation they have 60 customers in Sydney and opened a partner office in Perth. Last month they billed approximately $30,000 in telecommunication services and another $15,000 in added IT support services. Since starting the business billing has increased 20 per cent month on month. Owen and Aaron see their future business growth in cross- selling IT services with telco products, including computer telephony integration and building onsite PBXs.

With the onset of NBN, BlueSkyTel see a real opportunity in getting their business customers ready to take advantage of high-speed internet and the products they will be able to leverage from it.
