Damian Kay

"The driving force behind telcoinabox!" Damian is one of the three founders behind telcoinabox. Prior to establishing telcoinabox, Damian was the Managing Director of Universal Telecom, an international telco with a track record of success in the Australian telecommunications market, and prior to that has held a number of senior executive positions within Optus and Colgate Palmolive.

An experienced businessman, Damian bought 50% of Universal Telecom from its Scandinavian partner in 1999 and bought it outright in February 2002 to become one of the top ten telephony resellers in Australia with over 10,000 residential and business customers.

Damian was regional finalist in the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards for technology and emerging industries and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
